Engagement rings come in all different shapes, sizes, and stones! Traditionally the diamond is the most popular, however there are so many other stunning stones out there to dazzle and delight!!

They say Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, with that being said, there are many different shapes to choose from! Here are the top 10 diamond shapes.

Cushion - Known as the “pillow cut” diamond these are squares or rectangles with rounded edges.

Emerald - These are rectangle with step cuts on the sides and large flat top.

Asscher – These diamonds are cut similarly to emerald-cut diamonds except they are squares.

Heart – This romantic Shape is the perfect symbol of love.

Marquise – This cut is like an oval but with pointed ends.

Oval- these rounded diamonds are longer than they are wide.

Pear- Also known as the “teardrop” these have one pointed end and one rounded end.

Sapphires are typically a blue precious stone, but they do also come in other hues like peach, pink, yellow, green and white.

Emerald, with their distinct rich green tone, are beautiful, luxe, and precious, which makes them a popular stone for engagement rings.

Romantic, feminine and oh-so-pretty, morganite is perhaps one of the most popular choices for engagement rings at the moment.

Like emeralds and sapphires, rubies are one of the four precious stones, making them an extremely popular choice for engagement rings.

Onyx is a beautiful mineral that comes in a variety of colors but it most commonly found in its black form. Pair it with black diamonds for a chic look!

Something Blue

Most of us are familiar with the traditional wedding rhyme: “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in her shoe.” Something blue stands for purity, love and fidelity. Incorporating blue into your wedding could be as easy as adding a touch of blue to your décor, such as your flowers, centerpieces and candles. There is no rule saying you have to have it on your physical person. If blue isn’t part of your color scheme you can add something blue in subtle ways.

Here are some fun ways to add Something Blue into your wedding day!

Bouquet Ribbon
Add a touch of blue to your flowers by finishing it off with blue ribbon!

Blue Shoes
Wear a perfect pair of blue shoes on the big day!

Embroidered Blue Monogram
Add your monogram to a delicate handkerchief to wipe away tears of joy!

Add a little sparkle with a pretty blue piece of jewelry

Blue Pedicure
A fun blue pedicure is an unexpected way to add the color!

Hidden Blue Heart
Add a sweet little blue heart to the inside of your gown!
