Something Blue

Most of us are familiar with the traditional wedding rhyme: “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in her shoe.” Something blue stands for purity, love and fidelity. Incorporating blue into your wedding could be as easy as adding a touch of blue to your décor, such as your flowers, centerpieces and candles. There is no rule saying you have to have it on your physical person. If blue isn’t part of your color scheme you can add something blue in subtle ways.

Here are some fun ways to add Something Blue into your wedding day!

Bouquet Ribbon
Add a touch of blue to your flowers by finishing it off with blue ribbon!

Blue Shoes
Wear a perfect pair of blue shoes on the big day!

Embroidered Blue Monogram
Add your monogram to a delicate handkerchief to wipe away tears of joy!

Jewelry
Add a little sparkle with a pretty blue piece of jewelry

Blue Pedicure
A fun blue pedicure is an unexpected way to add the color!

Hidden Blue Heart
Add a sweet little blue heart to the inside of your gown!
