As the excitement of your recent engagement and selecting your wedding venue begins to set in, you find yourself being asked the ever so popular question:

“Are you going to send out save the dates?!”

We say YES!!

“Save the Dates” not only provide your guests with the opportunity to pre-plan for your special day, but it also creates a sense of excitement within your guests as they begin to count down the months until your big day!

Why do we love the idea of sending out save the dates? Here are just a few reasons!

1.) What better way to inform all of your friends and family of your big day than with an adorable picture of the two of you?! This could be your favorite photograph of the two of you or from your engagement shoot with your photographer! (We definitely suggest setting up an e-shoot with your photographer as this will help build an instant relationship with your vendor professional!)

2.) You no longer have to “wait” to inform your friends and family that you would like for them to be apart of your special day until a couple months before with your formal wedding invitations!

3.) Many couples will not only incorporate their wedding date and a photo into their “save the dates”, but also their wedding location! (West Bridgewater, Massachusetts!) This helps guests to begin their pre-planning with regards to travel arrangements and hotel accommodations if necessary.  

4.) Many couples will also include a link to their wedding website for their guests to enjoy all of their up-to-date wedding related information prior to the big day! Wedding websites have become such a popular trend as it allows your guests the opportunity of learning a little bit more about the two of you and of course, your big day! From direct links to hotel accommodations, your ceremony and reception information, wedding party members, to your proposal and love story—save the dates and wedding websites go a long way hand-in-hand!

With the brand new blog starting on our website, we thought it was appropriate to write one about the elegance and all the variety of options our brand new website holds for customers. It has been only a few weeks, but our brand new site has gained a fury of positive reviews. It is important as a company and especially a wedding venue to truly provide an online presence that matches our Canoe Club Ballroom facilities.

We have made it our goal to provide wedding searchers with all the information that we could possibly provide to them. One of the first things we want all website viewers to check out is our in depth photo galleries. We have an extensive amount of photos that include galleries for different categories including the courtyard, outdoor ceremony, the interior, transportation, spring weddings, summer weddings, and everything in between. This provides users with photos of a variety of different wedding themes and specifics.

Our second big feature our new website processes is our in depth wedding options. We are proud to provide prices and pictures of our entire menu. From Hors D’oeuvres through Dinner and into dessert, you can see what we offer. Our wedding options don’t stop at cuisine choices, we want everyone to dig into more information about wedding options, wedding pricing, preferred venders, uplighting & more.
